Over Omicron fear The Union Health Ministry got revised the guidelines mandating all over seas passengers should submit 14 day travel details and must upload a negative RT-PCR test report on Air Suvaida portal before beginning the journey.
The new guidelines put forward by Health Ministry will come in to effect from December 1. The RTPCR report to be uploaded should have been conducted with in 72 hours prior to the journey.
Travellers including UK, South Africa, Brazil , Bangladesh , Botswana , China , New Zealand and so and so will need to attend Covid test post arrival and have to wait for the results at the airport , as per the guidelines. If the result will be negative they must undergo seven days quarantine and followed by a retest on eighth day.
On arrival time, if the passengers are found to be symptomatic at screening shall be immediately go isolated and taken to medical facility as per health protocol.
If they tested positive , their contracts should be identified and got managed as per the protocol says the guidelines.
The guidelines have also stated that children under age five are exempted from pre and post arrival testing. The world is now under the threat of new Covid variant Omicron .
So the nations are now strictly at the abundant caution of new Corona virus emerging , the central ministry has written to the state governments absence of sufficient testing is highly difficult to determine the infection spread.
So all states should strengthen the testing infrastructure speed fully.
