Yesterday a group of policemen in plain cloths berated young people for consuming cigarettes near by shop. They asked one of them that consuming cigarettes in public places is offence and we will charge fine for this and they were having of stiffle dissent to wear uniform on duty.
This police persons were sipping a coffee near by shop when this young people caught up by them. The uniform of a policemen is a direct identification else how can we identify them as cops. A policeman in uniform is a visible identification for citizens to knew that he is a police officer.
Otherwise they could not identify them as police men. How can a policemen in plain cloths take action against citizen is a big question popping up. We can see police men with out uniform in some places behave arrogantly and using harsh words telling what would you do if we are not wear uniforms.
Are you ready to dare us?. We should put charges on you making obstruction on our duty. So this is a deviation from the mandatory of wearing police uniform on duty. Other wise action will be taken on this police men by state police chief. This is not good to shielding them with extreme police administration power.
