The health squad set up by the Corporation to check the disposal of plastic wastes taking place in the city are inactive now. Centres opened to collect plastic wastes in the city is not operating anywhere in the city.
The condition of small steal bins is really worse. Grasses are piled up in these small bins. And remain shut in all centres in Kollam Corporation.
Plastic wastes in all form are strewn around in various parts of cities right now. The tools provided with cleaning the plastic wastes and dumping in steal bins right now is scrapped. So the Kollam Corporation should Kick off the plastic cleaning drive as fast.
