അന്വേഷണം വാർത്തകൾ ലഭിക്കാന്‍ വാട്സാപ്പ് ചാനലില്‍ ചേരൂ.ലോക്‌സഭാ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില്‍ വീട്ടിലിരുന്ന് വോട്ട് ചെയ്യുന്നവരുടെ ബാലറ്റുകള്‍ ക്യാരിബാഗുകളിലും തുറന്ന സഞ്ചികളിലും കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നില്‍ ഇടപ്പെടല്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടുകൊണ്ട് തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ കമ്മീഷന് പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവ് പരാതി നല്‍കി.
സുതാര്യവും സത്യസന്ധവുമായി നടക്കേണ്ട തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് പ്രക്രിയ അട്ടിമരിക്കപ്പെടാതിരിക്കുന്നതിനായി വീട്ടിലിരുന്ന് വോട്ട് ചെയ്യുന്നവരുടെ ബാലറ്റുകള്‍ സീല്‍ ചെയ്ത് പെട്ടികളിലാണ് സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കമ്മീഷന് ഉറപ്പാക്കണമെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു.
85 വയസ് പിന്നിട്ടവർക്കും ഭിന്നശേഷി വോട്ടർമാർക്കും ആബ്‌സന്റീസ് വോട്ടർ വിഭാഗത്തിൽപ്പെടുത്തിയാണ് വീട്ടിലിരുന്ന് തന്നെ വോട്ട് ചെയ്യുന്നതിന് തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കമ്മീഷൻ സൗകര്യം ഒരുക്കുന്നത്. ഫോം 12 ഡി പ്രകാരം അപേക്ഷ നൽകിയ അർഹരായ വോട്ടർമാരുടെ വീടുകളിൽ സ്‌പെഷൽ പോളിങ് ടീമുകൾ എത്തിയാണ് വോട്ട് ചെയ്യിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. ഒരു പോളിങ് ഓഫീസർ, ഒരു മൈക്രോ ഓബ്‌സർവർ, പോളിങ് അസിസ്റ്റന്റ്, പോലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥൻ, വീഡിയോഗ്രാഫർ എന്നിവരാണ് സംഘത്തിലുള്ളത്.
വീട്ടിൽ വോട്ട് പ്രക്രിയ പൂർണമായും വീഡിയോയിൽ ചിത്രീകരിക്കുമെന്നും തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കമ്മീഷൻ അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നു. വിവിധ രാഷ്ട്രീയപാർട്ടികളുടെ ഏജന്റുമാരുടെ സാന്നിധ്യത്തിലാണ് വോട്ട് ചെയ്യുന്നത്. സീൽചെയ്ത പെട്ടിയിലാണ് വോട്ട് ചെയ്ത ബാലറ്റ് പേപ്പർ സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നതെന്നും വോട്ടിങ്ങിന്റെ രഹസ്യ സ്വഭാവം നിലനിർത്തി വോട്ട് ചെയ്യുന്നതിനുള്ള സൗകര്യം പോളിങ് സംഘം ഒരുക്കി നൽകുമെന്നും തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കമ്മീഷൻ നേരത്തെ വാർത്താക്കുറിപ്പിൽ അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നു.

Kindly recall my earlier letter requesting your good self to take the necessary steps to ensure a free and fair vote-from-home process ahead of the upcoming Loksabha elections.
It was requested in my prior letter to make sure that the votes are placed in sealed ballot boxes rather than loose covers, and that Chief Election Agents of the candidates are notified in advance of the voting schedule.
However, it is quite shocking to note that despite repeated requests, votes are carried in loose covers in flagrant violation of pertinent directives in this regard. Multiple incidents have been reported across the states where the votes have been carried in loose covers. This would sabotage the election process and affect the results in tightly fought constituencies. Media reports are attached herewith.
Taking into consideration of these highly vulnerable circumstances,I request that you take stringent measures to ensure that the postal votes are put in sealed ballot boxes and not inloosecovers.
